Quality

Guardfire is committed to achieving the highest levels of quality in all its products and services.   Formal documented procedures are implemented to ensure that the customers’ requirements are understood and met.  Guardfire work to a documented quality system which received certification to BS EN ISO 9001: 2000.

This certification covers the entire scope of operations including design, supply, and installation and servicing.  Work is underway to achieve certification throughout the Group.

Our proactive approach to quality ensures that problems are anticipated and avoided at the earliest stage.  A formal procedure exists for reporting and dealing with nonconformance from whatever source.  In selection of products preference is given to those products, which meet internationally recognized standards of performance and quality.

Guardfire conducts regular internal auditing of all the quality systems in place.  Trained internal auditors who are independent of the function under audit undertake audits locally.  The Company also implements and maintains a program of quality audits to ensure that the systems are maintained to required standards.

In addition to the internal quality auditing, the certified quality auditing, the certified quality system is also subject to regular auditing by the certification body.  These auditors are accredited by UKAS, the UK accreditation body under whose system the ISO 9001 certification is issued.
